Scam emails and messages posing as Digital Extremes recruiters are on the rise. Unfortunately this is becoming more common across the gaming industry. These scammers will often scrape data from publicly available candidate databases, and target job seekers searching for new opportunities. Please stay cautious when job hunting, especially when you are asked to share personal information!
Legitimate Digital Extremes recruiters will NEVER:
- Use an email address that isn’t @digitalextremes.com
- Conduct interviews via social media or instant messenger
- Request personal information (SSN/SIN, bank accounts, passport) before a job offer
- Ask you to send money or purchase equipment
