  • Prioritize providing a clean, creative, well-functioning work environment for our unique, passionate, talented team
  • Performs key role in overall office maintenance and operations
  • Daily site checks of office for cleanliness, clutter control, repairs; work with staff to resolve day-to-day maintenance/housekeeping problems
  • Research, negotiate contracts and manage relationships with necessary vendors and trades people (including but not limited to cleaning services, plumbers, electricians)
  • Manage relationship with landlord in-person and using the landlord maintenance software system – Angus
  • Prepare annual building operations budget and general building-related work
  • Oversee a preventative maintenance program and recommend new preventative maintenance items as needed with budget in mind
  • Coordinate, schedule and manage small to mid-size office upgrade projects and renovations
  • Work with Head Chef to coordinate all vendors for Kitchen services; hood cleaning, ordering of Ecolab supplies, scheduling preventative maintenance for kitchen equipment, ordering and coordinating uniform services for kitchen staff, booking special cleaning services for kitchen and bar area
  • Work with Finance to manage inventory control count and proper storage of game merchandise
  • Coordinate inspections to insure compliance with codes and safety regulations; reside over office safety committee
  • Responsible for creating, and testing security, evacuation, AODA and fire preparedness plans
  • Work with HR to coordinate moves and reconfiguration of furniture layout and design if needed
  • Ready and willing to take on any operational task necessary small or large (i.e. supply run, small repairs, etc.)
  • On-call emergency contact for building emergencies

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2-3 years experience in construction management, facilities management, interior design or related field
  • Certificate in Facilities Management
  • Demonstrable practical knowledge of program/project administration
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent knowledge of facility repair and maintenance processes, scheduling and costs
  • Excellent attention to detail; good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to find and implement practical solutions to problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and good judgment when dealing with a broad range of personalities in and out of the studio
  • Must have a car, a valid driver’s license and be available for on-call needs as required
