As June and Pride month reaches its finale, we at Digital Extremes want to take this opportunity to thank you all for celebrating and embracing diversity and inclusion with us. As an organization committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and game, we believe it is essential to recognize and support our LGBTQIA2S+ employees and players.
At DE, we value the unique perspective and experiences that each team member brings to the organization. We believe that diversity fuels innovation, creativity, and collaboration, making us stronger as a company. By celebrating PRIDE, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work every day!
Local Pride Events and Fundraising
DE employees, friends and family will be participating in the 27th Annual London Pride Parade on July 23rd, 2023.
In a continued effort to support local LGBTQIA2S+ charities, Digital Extremes made a $20,000 CAD donation to Rainbow Railroad, a Toronto based not-for-profit organization. Rainbow Railroad works tirelessly to helping at-risk LGBTQIA2S+ people around the world get to safety. Learn more about Rainbow Railroad and their work.
Supporting Pride in-game and with the Community
Pride celebrations have also begun in Warframe to celebrate LGTBQIA2S+ inclusion and diversity all year round.
There is still time to get the Pride 2023 Display and Glyph designed by community members Viper Menace and Irisllych, as well as the Pride Celebration Color Palette! They are available in the in-game Market for 1 Credit until June 30th @ 11:59 PM ET.
If you happen to miss them in the in-game Market, you can still show your Pride by claiming the Glyph and Display using the “PRIDE2023” code for the rest of this year!
We also want to thank our featured Warframe Creators for being a part of this year’s Pride celebrations! You can find their channel details in the link below.

Ongoing Education & Support
Throughout 2023 we have had a renewed focus on our internal recruitment practices to ensure our job descriptions are free from biased language and requirements that may unintentionally discourage certain candidates from applying. We are broadening our recruitment channels to reach a wider pool of candidates from diverse backgrounds and will be working with organizations that specialize in connecting employers with underrepresented talent.
We will be engaging our hiring managers and recruiters on unconscious bias to ensure fair evaluation of candidates. Our goal is to create an inclusive interview environment by avoiding questions that may be discriminatory or invasive. Focus on assessing candidates' skills, experiences, and cultural fit with the organization.
We strive to share valuable resources, utilizing great companies like “Power to Fly”.
Working with our employees to ensure that our health benefits program is inclusive and meets the needs of all our employees.
Inclusive signage within Digital Extremes studio.
Organize panel discussions and invite guest speakers from the LGBTQIA2S+ community to share their experiences, insights, and knowledge.
Continue to support groups for LGBTQIA2S+ within Digital Extremes Slack communities.
We have partnered with Confetti to bring inclusive and unforgettable team building events for both local and remote employees. Confetti celebrates LGBTQIA2S+ History & Culture so we are very excited to have launched this platform recently!
Happy Pride!
Beyond the June celebrations, Digital Extremes wants to ensure support is provided to its employees and the people who play our games. It is paramount for us as an organization to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment year-round.
Thank you for celebrating with us!
